Perhaps the most popular has become ‘ghosted,’ which means the person becomes a ghost – you don’t talk to them or completely ignore them because you’re not interested. Now there’s an even worse way to treat people – having them sit one out, if you will – just like in baseball or another sport, they have to wait their turn to play.
