During Thanksgiving, people gather around to feast and spend time with their friends and family. However, not every Thanksgiving celebration goes off without a hitch. There's a lot to cook when you're preparing to entertain for Thanksgiving. The classic main dish that takes some time to cook is the turkey.

Unfortunately, this also means your oven might be on so long that someone thinks it was accidentally left on. To avoid this, let's go over rule number one - check the oven before you turn it off on Thanksgiving. Otherwise, you might end up hungry and waiting like this family.

Setting the Table

Once you have all the food set up, the waiting is over. All you have to do is walk over and pick up a plate.

This family maybe should have grabbed their plates a bit faster. At the very least, someone should check the stability of the table legs before loading the table up with food next time. As if the food on the floor wasn't enough, it looks like a few dishes broke as well. Maybe they can grab some takeout?

Right as this person snapped their camera, the person in the photo completely dropped the dish they were working on. Instead of ending up in the baking trays, the mix ended up on the floor, on the cabinets, on the chef, and pretty much anywhere but where it was supposed to go.
